Many, many thanks to my friends Gerrie, Vivika, Debra, Candy, and Deborah for helping me celebrate. And many thanks also to everyone who entered - your comments have really been wonderful!
Digital collage has been my primary means of designing quilts for over 10 years. If you check out my gallery on my website and the tab on the blog labeled recent quilts you'll see what I mean. And those designs are just the tip of the iceberg. I have many more quilts designed or in work on my computer, and several printed out and ready to quilt. I feel so blessed to be living in this time of technological wonder. When printing on fabric with a home computer and printer became possible it was like I'd been waiting for that my whole life, and didn't even know it.

Thanks for the give-away. YOur work is beautiful.
I am a newbie to digital maipulation of images, and your imagesa re very inspiring. Most of my art quilts are very representational, and I'd relaly like to learm more about abstracts. Learning to digitlly alter my images would help a great deal.
Thnks again!

I would love to learn more about digital collage. I've done some digital art, but have not applied it to my quilts. I think it would be a nice combination.
This sounds like a great idea for me to explore now that I am retiring! I am going to enjoy following your blog.
love to study it. XXX = fingers crossed.

Thanks for giving us multiple chances to win your DVD. It's one I'd love to own.
:-D eirdre
Diane, I'd love to have your DVD. While I take tons of photos, and lots of people tell me they're very good, I don't use them in my quilts, only as a notebook. I'd love to see how you use yours and HOW you do it.
Of course, I'm constantly sharing on "how tos" and "things to think about" with a small group of newly minted art quilters here in my predominantly traditional guild.
Keep up the good work! (and throw out or remake the bad).

I've been taking photos for years of my flowers and gardens, as well as whatever inspires me along my travels. Even during creatively blocked times I have still been able to take photos. I'd love to learn new ways to use these photos in my art.
Ah digital collage! I could definitely use some lessons on that!
warm regards
Angela
Wow. I have just found you on quiltart list, and I have a feeling that you are now going to be one more reason that I will be spending time on the computer. ( I really needed another reason!?)
Interweave's DVDs are a godsend. My computer/collage experience is pretty limited....my printer is oh, so hungry, and will just as often as not, eat whatever I feed into it! Perhaps your DVD will be the impetus that I need to get going in earnest.
Ooh!Pretty Colors is getting bookmarked for quick reference. Here's my email so that you can contact me when I get chosen for your DVD!
